Class Tree
- A lot of the points are utility nodes and can be moved around as needed, like Earthgrab Totem, Improved Purify Spirit, Winds of Alakir, and Wind Shear.
- Earth Elemental and Primordial Bond are an option if you need an extra defensive.
- Thunderous Paws is an option if you need to clear snares, Spirit Wolf is generally stronger as a defensive.
Spec Tree
- Healing Rain is a very good spell and you should be casting it all the time in raid, do not play non-rain Farseer.
- Ancestral Reach and Flow of the Tides are both good but Ancestral Reach is easier to get value of during raids and requires less focus. On paper Flow of the Tides can lead to more healing but it requires you to play into it a lot more and actively manage your Riptides.
- Tidewaters and Echo of the Elements are low value points that can be moved around, but there are not a lot of good options for them.
- Improved Earthliving Weapon and Ancestral Awakening drop in value the less Healing Waves you cast in favor of Chain Heal. If you are running into mana issues on longer boss fights that require you to Healing Wave more then those talents can be better picks.
Normal Gameplay
- Use all Stormstream Totem procs you get
- Keep Riptide on cooldown. Prefer targets that don't already have it
- Use Ancestral Swiftness on cooldown
- Cast Unleash Life. It doesn't matter too much what spell you consume the buff with
- Keep Healing Rain active
- Use Healing Stream Totem. Keep it on cooldown as much as possible
- Fill with Chain Heal or Healing Wave. Chain Heal does much more overall healing but costs more mana, Healing Wave is cheaper and also better at healing one or two targets.
Ascendance
- Cast Riptide twice to get two Tidal Waves stacks
- Use Unleash Life to activate the buff
- Press Ascendance
- Cast Chain Heal twice
- Use Ancestral Swiftness
- Use Chain Heal repeatedly while Ascendance is active
Your best stat is Critical Strike and you want as much of it as possible. After that Versatility and Mastery are fairly close in value while Haste is your worse stat.
- Critical Strike
- Versatility = Mastery
- Haste

Class Tree
- A lot of the points are utility nodes and can be moved around as needed, like Earthgrab Totem, Improved Purify Spirit, and Purge. Poison Cleansing Totem and Tremor Totem can be good pickups depending on the dungeon.
- Earth Elemental and Primordial Bond are an option if you need an extra defensive.
- Thunderous Paws is an option if you need to clear snares, Spirit Wolf is generally stronger as a defensive.
Spec Tree
- Ancestral Reach and Flow of the Tides are both good but Flow of the Tides will result in higher healing if you properly play around it.
- Healing Rain can be very good in as long as you can get the majority of the group inside of it. A good part of its value comes from letting you use Deluge and Flow of the Tides together without losing on bonus healing.
- Earthweaver gains value in keys where keeping specific targets alive is important, but if you don't feel like you are using the extra single-target healing you can move the point somewhere else.
- Acid Rain is a dps gain but grabbing it would cost a talent that increases your healing in some way. The best options are Earthweaver or Improved Earthliving Weapon.
- Crashing Waves is good but its costly as it requires you to also pick [Current Control]. Furthermore Ascendance makes all your [Healing Waves] crit reducing the value of the talent.
Normal Gameplay
- Use all Stormstream Totem procs you get
- Keep Riptide on cooldown. Prefer targets that don't already have it
- Use Ancestral Swiftness on cooldown

- Keep Healing Rain active
- Use Healing Stream Totem. Keep it on cooldown all the time
- Fill with Chain Heal or Healing Wave. Chain Heal does much more overall healing but costs more mana, Healing Wave is cheaper and also better at healing one or two targets. Aim your Chain Heals to targets that have soon-to-expire Riptides.
Ascendance
A lot of the time you will press Ascendance out of necesity to heal right now and won't have a lot of time to do preparation steps, in those cases it is fine to simply use the cooldown and then heal with Healing Wave or Chain Heal as much as possible. If you do have time to prepare for it however these are the optimal steps:
- Cast Riptide twice to get two Tidal Waves stacks
- Use Unleash Life to activate the buff
- Press Ascendance
- Cast Healing Wave or Chain Heal twice
- Use Ancestral Swiftness
- Use Healing Wave or Chain Heal repeatedly while Ascendance is active
Healing Wave is generally more useful in m+ due to being very good at keeping specific targets alive, but if the damage is equally distributed across the party then Chain Heal is a much better tool.
Because of the extra importance of Healing Wave and the lower concerns for mana in keys Haste becomes a slightly better stat, and Critical Strike drops in value a bit because of the guaranteed critical strikes the spell gets from Ascendance. This means the stats are much closer together in value.
- Critical Strike
- Versatility = Mastery = Haste
