Class Tree
- A lot of the points are utility nodes and can be moved around as needed, like Earthgrab Totem, Improved Purify Spirit, Winds of Alakir, and Wind Shear.
- Earth Elemental and Primordial Bond are an option if you need an extra defensive.
- Thunderous Paws is an option if you need to clear snares, Spirit Wolf is generally stronger as a defensive.
Spec Tree
- Ancestral Reach and Flow of the Tides are both good but Ancestral Reach is easier to get value of during raids and requires less focus. On paper Flow of the Tides can lead to more healing but it requires you to play into it a lot more.
- Overflowing Shores is a very good increase in quality of life but not a very high healing increase, its main value is in a good pathing option to [Rip Current]. The only real place to move the point into would be [Current Control] but the mana reduction in Healing Wave is fairly useless.
- Earthen Accord is a very low value point, it doesn't increase your healing by a good amount and its not worth considering.
Normal Gameplay
- Use all Stormstream Totem procs you get
- Keep Riptide on cooldown. Prefer targets that don't already have it
- Use Natures Swiftness on cooldown
- Maintain Surging Totem active
- Use Downpour as much as possible
- Use Healing Stream Totem. Keep it on cooldown as much as possible
- Cast Unleash Life. It doesn't matter too much what spell you consume the buff with
- Fill with Chain Heal or Healing Wave. Chain Heal does much more overall healing but costs more mana, Healing Wave is cheaper and also better at healing one or two targets.
Ascendance
- Cast Riptide twice to get two Tidal Waves stacks
- Use Unleash Life to activate the buff
- Press Ascendance
- Cast Chain Heal twice
- Use Natures Swiftness
- Cast Chain Heal
- Use all your Healing Stream Totems and Stormstream Totems
- Cast Chain Heal while Ascendance is active
Your best stat is Critical Strike and you want as much of it as possible. After that Versatility and Mastery are fairly close in value while Haste is your worse stat.
- Critical Strike
- Versatility = Mastery
- Haste

Class Tree
- A lot of the points are utility nodes and can be moved around as needed, like Earthgrab Totem, Improved Purify Spirit, and Purge. Poison Cleansing Totem and Tremor Totem can be good pickups depending on the dungeon.
- Earth Elemental and Primordial Bond are an option if you need an extra defensive.
- Thunderous Paws is an option if you need to clear snares, Spirit Wolf is generally stronger as a defensive.
Spec Tree
- Ancestral Reach and Flow of the Tides are both good, Flow of the Tides is stronger on paper but requires you to properly play into it.
- Ancestral Vigor is a very good utility option but costly at 2 points. If you are not doing dungeons where the extra health is needed you can move these points into other options like Overflowing Shores and [Rip Current].
- Crashing Waves is good but its costly as it requires you to also pick [Current Control].
- Deeply Rooted Elements is very strong but can be a bit too random. The point can also be moved into Downpour for a more controlled form of healing. Earthen Harmony can then be moved into Water Expulsion.

Because of the extra importance of Healing Wave and the lower concerns for mana in keys Haste becomes a slightly better stat. This means the stats are much closer together in value.

- Versatility = Mastery = Haste
