- The choice between Dreamflight and Stasis comes down to how much value can you get out of Dreamflight. If the fight allows you to hit most of your raid during a dangerous situation then Dreamflight is simply better. If this isn't possible then you would opt into Stasis
- Inner Flame is good because of Dreamflight and loses a lot of value if you are playing Stasis, so you most likely want to move this talent somewhere else.
Normal Gameplay
While raiding it is important to note that some spells are very good and you want to cast them often, but they are still not our best Echo option and so you want to avoid consuming Echoes with them. Dream Breath and Verdant Embrace fall into this category.
To Generate Echoes:
- Dream Breath will generate Essence Burst from the After image Chrono Flames. It will also give you a Merithra's Blessing.
- Casting Fire Breath will give you Leaping Flames. This is another good way to generate Essence Burst.
- During downtime, use Chrono Flame on the boss to generate even more bursts.
- Use your Essence Bursts on Emerald Blossom for Twin Echoes. You will get the healing from the blossom for free and still have the same amount of Echoes.
To Consume Your Echoes:
You want all your Echoes to go into Merithra's Blessing. It can be a good idea to use Dream Breath before you start applying them to guarantee you can cast it but all your Echo casts have a decently high likelyhood of generating one. Currently all other Echo consumption alternatives are below Merithra's Blessing. If you need to consume Echoes and you don't have Merithra's Blessing available you should use Verdant Embrace
Mastery > Haste > Critical Strike > Versatility
Mastery is our best stat for healing and stacking more of it will always lead to best results when it comes to keeping people alive. Critical Strike loses value because several of our spells like Temporal Anomaly can't crit, this makes Haste our second best stat.

- Twin Echoes is a very strong talent point once you have your Tierset 4 piece bonus. Before you get it the point could be moved into other options but you will always play with it once you acquire it.
- Lifeforce Mender is a low value point that could be moved around. The increase to red spells affects Chrono Flame (the ones you cast and the ones from After image) and Fire Breath healing via Life-Giver's Flame so it is an always-active increase but is isn't very impactful.
- Ouroboros has synergy with the Tierset 4 piece bonus and Twin Echoes which makes it another option to increase your healing passively. This comes in the form of Emerald Blossom healing so if you are not consistently getting people inside of them it loses value. Opt for this instead of Lifeforce Mender in melee heavy groups.
- Temporal Artificer can be good in situations that fit a 3 minute cooldown much better than a 4 minute one, but this is very niche. Unless you identify a specific place where these timings apply then the talent is useless.
Your gameplay during M+ will revolve around applying Echo on people in preparation for damage and then consuming them with different spells depending on what you need and what it is available. An important thing to remember when doing keys is that whatever keeps people alive can be a good choice in the moment and not doing anything because you are trying to think of the optimal answer is worse than simply healing with a suboptimal one.
- Apply Echo early an often. You can do this with both Temporal Anomaly and manual casts.
- Maintain Reversion active on the group, Temporal Anomaly is a great way to do this. Using Merithra's Blessing will also apply a normal Reversion.
- Use Dream Breath. This can be a flexible tool as it is both a good up-front heal and a heal over time. It will also guarantee a Merithra's Blessing proc.
- Use Verdant Embrace often. This is a very good burst healing tool and also gives you Primacy.
- Heal with Merithra's Blessing. You get all the jumps for every Echo you consume with it so its a very good Echo choice.
- Fire Breath can be a potent healing spell in multi target scenarios via Life-Giver's Flame.
- You can use Leaping Flames as an emergency heal on the group, but most of the time you will simply spend these on damage.
The rest of the time, use Disintegrate to recover mana if you have extra essence or Chrono Flame to do damage.
